Shallow water around trees and stumps where water is just starting to get into these areas. But biggest numbers came from deep water 12-15 feet.

Working buzzbait on the outside edge of grass around shad.

Caught approx 20 bass between 13 and 16 inches on combination of spinnerbaits and pop-r type baits

Several bass early while they were chasing shad using Strike King Rage Swimmers. Later turned to pumpkin worm on Carolina rig.

Water levels are still low and this seems to be affecting spawn. Starting to see lots of small fish in shallower waters.

Fishing was good early in the day. Everything caught today was on Chartreuse spinnerbaits. 4 fish total all 2+ lbs. Water is still up and down. Good bit of luck casting into deeper water and letting bait sink to bottom and working back up. Almost every hit today was from doing this.
