Look for main lake points with deep drops near by we had at least 10 on this morning nothing over 3lbs though other than the hybrid.

Summer temps have sent the bass deep. Everything was in at least 12 feet of water except 2 picked up around docks.

I use a gamakatsu 2/0 with the weedless wire on them and the small black o rings for the best results. No need for tying a leader of any sort. They won’t notice the line when they see the wacky rig!

Look for coves that narrow into a creek and cast into creek reeling into more open water but don’t reel too fast. Medium speed retrieve. Don’t use hollow frogs they don’t like those you must use paddle feet Stanley Ribbit are the best in Baby bass color not size!

Slow day overall. Water is at or below winter levels already. Did have some luck with KVD perfect plastics and also spinner baits around boat docks. Working everything slow.
