Went fishing for a little bit around midday caught one bass on a Texas rig senko under some docks near Yellowjacket. Then caught another near Holiday Park at a point. Found a hole about 40ft deep, but didn't have enough time to fish it.

Working buzzbait on the outside edge of grass around shad.

I use a gamakatsu 2/0 with the weedless wire on them and the small black o rings for the best results. No need for tying a leader of any sort. They won’t notice the line when they see the wacky rig!

Look for coves that narrow into a creek and cast into creek reeling into more open water but don’t reel too fast. Medium speed retrieve. Don’t use hollow frogs they don’t like those you must use paddle feet Stanley Ribbit are the best in Baby bass color not size!

Summer temps have sent the bass deep. Everything was in at least 12 feet of water except 2 picked up around docks.

The bite was good around yellow jacket. Mostly caught them on 3/8 oz Texas rigged worms watermelon red ol monsters. Look for main lake points with deep drops near by we had at least 10 on this morning nothing over 3lbs though other than the hybrid.
