Casting slow presentation swim jig was my only way to get those fish to commit. Got a few short strikes on moving baits.

Found some nice pre spawn in 4-6' over healthy cabbage. big basin is really dirty with heavy weeds. Look for clean weeds and you will find quality fish

Only caught 8 fish - most of them on a topwater following the shade line in 5-8ft of water (outside of lilly pads). Also caught a few with a texas rigged stickbait around docks. Clear bluebird day with low wind made it tough.

Shallow water fishing in 5-6 feet of water near isolated docks and main lake points. Patience was the key to success.

Water temps are heating up. Covering water along the shore lines in 5-6 feet of water produced the most bites using a weightless Texas Rig.
