Thanks to my Pro Mike Frye for putting on some good fosh today. We both caught a limit. Mike used a Carolina Rig and I used several baits. Our strategy was to work current seams and grass lines behind tied-up barges just off the main river channel. Green Pumpkin was the best color today. Day 2 tomorrow!

Day two of the BFL Regional. Conditions were bluebird skies and 78 degrees. TVA was generating so there was a very strong current most of the day. Our strategy was to work current seams along bluff walls. We found the most effective way to get bites, and keep from getting snagged in the rocks, was to let the boat drift with the current and throw our baits down-stream and let them hit the bottom before working them back to the boat. We has so-so results and only weighted in three keepers.
