We did best win the creek channels. Deeper ones seemed to be holding more fish. Had to get a jerk bait deep and work it slow.

Water was decently clear and fish were on long points and chasing bait. Most reaction baits could catch them, but a crankbait and umbrella rig seemed to work the best on cold days. Best way to fish the crankbait was to reel really fast and then pausing 3-4 times per cast. Fish seemed to be slapping at the crankbait and having upgraded treble hooks made a real difference.
