I caught 7 largemouth bass and 1 smallmouth fishing the outside edge of the weedline in 11 feet of water.

Today I was targeting deep weedlines out on points. Had some great catches during Mid-day with the dark sleeper. Like a football jig. Short drags. Let it sink to the bottom. Pick up on it and it will slide to you about a foot. Let it get back on bottom. Repeat.

Caught them in 14 ft of water on the weed edge alternating between a Ned rig and drop shot . Ended the day with 4.25 big fish .

We had a club tourney last night and caught many fish flipping milfoil in 8-12 feet of water. Fish were schooled up, where one was caught there were several more. 20+ keepers caught

The bass fishing was pretty good on White Bear Lake today. Lots of minnows were busting on the surface over 12 feet of water. I tossed wacky rigged Senkos, a drop shot, football jig and trailer, and a chatterbait. I caught all the fish on a wacky rigged watermelon red flake 5 inch Senko. I like to target the edge of the weedline.

Fished a tournament on this lake. Dinks were plentiful. Caught a lot of fish but only caught 5 keepers all day. All but one keeper was caught on wacky rig the other one was got on a Tokyo rig pitching in to some trees.

On Sunday 8/28/2022, the water temperature was 73 degrees, and the weather was cloudy with occasional rain. Bass up to 3lb could be found out in 16-17' where sand met submerged coontail looking vegetation. Dragging a jig a foot or two, waiting 15-20sec, dragging again was getting strikes while the jig was moving. But, the better size bass were found pitching to clumps of submerged weeds in about 10' of water.
