Sudden drop in air temperature and relatively warm water temperature puts a fog on the surface of the water, indicating that a topwater bite is potentially on. Fish flat, shallow areas ideally with sand and reeds present. Fishing a steady retrieve prop bait at a relatively slow rate can move fish and yield bites, particularly early in the morning and late into the evening/night. Water temps tend to be around 60 degrees - with dropping air temperature - when this topwater window is open.
