The lake was loaded, and I mean LOADED with curly leaf pond weed. Not gonna lie it was kind of a slog to try and fish through all that. That being said, it paid off with a 4lb beauty on a frog no less. They’re in there, just gotta be willing to grind until you find em.

I caught 5 largemouth bass all between 2-4lbs with the largest in the photo. In order to get bites you have to drag your jig with menace trailer through the thickest brush you can find or over rock on the jetties.
