Various swimbaits were effective, slowly reeled along 10' deep or less flats adjacent to the river channel. Bog and stumpy areas held the nicest quality fish but a couple smaller fish were holding in the weeds. Once the rain stopped so did the bite. May want to consider a light wire leader to keep the pike from stealing your favorite baits.
