Fish are in a funk right now after spawning. I had plenty of bites but a few missed opportunities. Still fishing the same slow, efficient, and being patient. This time of the year you are one swing of the rod away from 4 or 5 pounder.

Wilson is fishing the toughest I’ve seen in a long time. Many of the local hammers are struggling to catch 15lbs. We caught 11.19 lbs and it came off of jigs, buzz baits, spinnerbaits, Texas rigs… I mean it has been tough. I was able to get my first jig bite of the year and it produced the two biggest bites of the day.
