I participated in the TRA tournament and had a tough outing. The water was down a foot and some change and no current was being pulled. Today was more of a junk fishing day to say the least. I threw everything under the sun and caught a mixture of largemouth and smallmouth. I believe the lack of current and water drop page had the fish in a lethargic mood.

The fall transition is in full swing! The temps are dipping down into the upper 40’s with highs in the low to mid 80’s. The smallmouth have been schooling like crazy feeding on shad. The largemouth are schooling as well. I found a massive school and pushed up shallow on points and flats. I caught over 10 bass that were a mixture of largemouth and smallmouth.
