Fish a chatterbait with a craw style trailer along the weedlines in 8-14 ft. of water and you are in for a quality bite!

Fish were few, far and in between on this lake! fished the edge of weed lines with little luck. Caught one decent bass in pads but other than that very slow day for this lake!

Got off school early today, and headed straight Omnia to pickup some of the new Hayabusa swim jigs. The same day order pickup made things super easy. I headed right to Wirth Lake hoping to put these things to work but things didn’t go exactly as planned. At the lake I noticed some fish busting in the matts. I tossed the frog right where one had surfaced and worked it slow across the matt. After one or two twitches and pauses he crushed it. With the sun high in the sky, the activity in the matts died down but the frog bite was fun while it lasted. Good luck!

Tried fishing ned rigs and grass jigs with a crawdad on it.... Those did not catch any fish or have any bites. As soon as I started throwing spinners out, they were biting.
