This lake gets an immense amount of shore fishing pressure in the summer, but if you have the ability to get out to deeper water via kayak/canoe, this lake can be an anglers dream. Fish a chatterbait with a craw style trailer along the weedlines in 8-14 ft. of water and you are in for a quality bite!

Got out for a little bit the late evening, and got a good frog bite. Find matted vegetation and get to work. Daiwa Tatula elite rod allowed me to make bomb casts deep and vegetation, but also had enough to get the fish out the slop. caught numerous fish around this size.

Straight retrieve on the outside of weed line. Come to a stop when snagged on Coontail weeds.
