Water was super high, 36k gallons a minute comming through the dam, 5 foot over average. Didnt catch anything probably could have used more weight on the jig head. Live minnows and Hair Jigs, but the current was ripping, ice sheets were floating down river, and a deer stand. Was difficult to stay in one spot.

Saturday Morning Memories…Stand Up, Pitch a Jig, Find a PIG 👀 she went 21.5” @ 6.3 lbs. This pre-spawn lady was in lay down, brush pile on flooded back waters on Wisconsin River (critical time of year to find big females on wood) got to be able to risk getting hung up, well worth the payoff 🤙#bass #bassfishing #kayakbassfishing

Had to break ice on backwaters to get to some flooded areas off the Wisconsin River to reach smallmouth. Caught a few today but was well worth the effort to get the yak in the water for the first time this year!
