Fishing the Wisconsin River in Stevens Point on a hot early September day. Dragging/hopping neds and jigs along the bottom caught a bunch of smallies along with a few bonus catfish and carp.

Used an 1/8 oz pumpkin tube with chartreuse tails for follow up on the smallies. Smallmouth were on shallow laydowns, current seams, and eddies. Largemouth were in backwaters. Also did well for largemouth with a launch series scum frog in lily pads.
