TechniqueSwim JigsSeasonSummerStructureLaydownsWhite/Chartreuse 3/8 oz swim jig was best for both largemouth and smallmouth. Used an 1/8 oz pumpkin tube with chartreuse tails for follow up on the smallies. Smallmouth were on shallow laydowns, current seams, and eddies. Largemouth were in backwaters. Also did well for largemouth with a launch series scum frog in lily pads.

TechniqueTexas Rigs (Worming)SeasonSummerStructureRiver ChannelsLate summer cold front and windy conditions with high skies. Look for rock & weed combinations close to the main river current/channel. Drag Midwest Finesse presentations for hard-fighting bronze beauties. Likely to encounter a bonus walleye too.
