Most of the fish are on beds now. I found most of the beds in 4-6 feet by visually looking around. When I would find a bed I would throw a white ned rig onto the bed so I could see when the fish bit.

Look for big post spawn smallies cruising the sand flats and points. Ned rigs and drop shots are extremely effective this time of year.
