Fishing an Umbrella rig in 10-25 feet of water around brush piles and rock can be extremely productive this time of year as we move into the earliest stages of pre-spawn fishing. Stripers and Bass both fall victim to a medium to slow retrieve. Can be fished with lighter weighted jig heads shallow like a spinnerbait around visible structure.
