Focus on the Texas rig, you are going to want to fish it around submerged vegetation as well as a couple of feet away from the lines of pads running along the bank. When picking a weight you are going to want to run smaller, because the slow fall is usually when you get bit. Try different plastics, senkos, creature baits, anything in the ballpark of 4-6 inches long.
