The fish were sitting on the back side of rocks with strong current flowing by. They used the boulders as an ambush point and would wait until bait flowed by to strike. I found these boulders using my Lowrance and Humminbird side scan. We started catching them early on a crankbait and when they quit biting that we had to slow down with a shakyhead to pick up some extra, key fish.
