The Deps 5" Slender Scat is a stickbait featuring a high-density material with a salt content of 40%, which combined with its unique shape is designed to create more water resistance and allow for a great falling action that generates bites. Despite its slender profile, the Slender Scat has a thick body that shimmies as it falls on a slack line, creating a lifelike pulsing action. Both sides of the Slender Scat feature fin-like ribs for stabilization, creating a lifelike darting motion when twitched for more action. Additionally, the fins act like a keel, giving it a gliding action, while its bulging tail section is heavier to displace more water and add to its shimmying appeal. In addition to its high salt content, the Slender Scat features a natural crustacean scent that fish bite onto and won't let go of. Designed for easy rigging, the Slender Scat excels when on a weightless Texas rig, but it can also be fished on a wacky rig, weighted Texas rig, or shakey-style jighead.
