WalleyeTechniqueHard JerkbaitsSeasonWinterStructurePointsFishing right at dusk as the sun went down. The saugeye were we very shallow (2-5ft) on sandy points. Caught 18 fish in 2 hours on Megabass Vision 110 jerkbaits. Instead of rod twitches it more of a slow pull then a 10-15 second pause.

Found some smallies out off main lake points in-between 20-25 feet. Bait was packed so thick my blade would come back with shad hooked quite often. Find the bait and find the fish. Quick pops off the bottom with a 1/2 blade bait was the ticket. Even caught a few yellow perch.

Slight twitches with 5 second pauses. I tried to let it drift with the waves a bit.

The middle and south pool had them stacked thick on those secondary points in the fingers. That first big depth change in about the 15ft range. Caught vertically jigging a rapala ice jig in shad patrerns.
