Largemouth BassTechniqueTexas Rigs (Worming)SeasonSummerStructureHumpsFound most of our Bass in 15 to 16 feet. Worked back slowly even to the point of dead sticking at points on the retrieve. Fish were lethargic and sitting on the bottom. Pulled in a nice 3.5 lb bass on the Berkley and a 5.07 lb largemouth on the Jackhammer. Not a lot of fish but size was pretty good.

Although we caught one small one up shallow the larger fish were in 15 to 16 feet of water. They are somewhat lethargic and with only one foot of visibility going with a bait that will trigger their lateral line to help them find it made sense to us and worked the best. They were sitting on the bottom.

Bite shut off by 8 am. The only place they would hit was in the flooded area behind the brush line and they were hugging up tight to the cover.
