The cold front we have had seems to have knocked fish back a little. Only seen two fish up on the bed and very few cruising. Backed off and started fishing spawning flats and shallows points with a Swing Head to combat that. Reeling it just along the bottom bumping the pea gravel rocks.

Most fish were caught on channel swings leading into spawning areas fishing 12 to 22 feet of water. Bite was subtle after a major cold front pushed through. Water temps were 52 to 55 degrees in areas we fished. We also caught a couple fish on a Rapala DT-10 Green Gizzard Shad crank bait.

Caught all on channel swing bluff walls with laydowns

Ended up with a big fat zero at this weekends BFL. However, if you are looking to catch numbers this bait got it done. Mixed with some shakey head, and spinner bait fishing you can have a great day. Find a creek and flip everything.
