Bite was subtle after a major cold front pushed through. Water temps were 52 to 55 degrees in areas we fished. We also caught a couple fish on a Rapala DT-10 Green Gizzard Shad crank bait.

Well wasn’t much happening. This little guy hit a blade bait and not another bite after about 4 hours. One bite and one in the yak. Weather was nice for the last two days but still dealing with cold nights. Some near freezing still. Hoping the next few weeks get better. Water temp was around 54 degrees. Getting there slowly but surely.

The cold front we have had seems to have knocked fish back a little. Only seen two fish up on the bed and very few cruising. Backed off and started fishing spawning flats and shallows points with a Swing Head to combat that. Reeling it just along the bottom bumping the pea gravel rocks.

Caught them early on a Don Iovino Splashit. Then went deep in brush pile with a 10" Power Worm.
