My buddy and I caught 2 pike each. I caught 8 bass on a small spinner and a wacky rigged Senko. But we hammered the crappies. I caught close to 20, and John caught close to 40. They were pretty much all 9 to 12 inches in length. We used small chartreuse plastic jigs under a bobber in 4 feet of water. We found the warmest water on the lake, and that's where the crappies were. In the emerging lily pads.

Fish were sitting in the brush piles on the few points that Bass Lake has. Texas rig was the best way to drop down in them. Water was cold and very inactive fish. Slowly worked all cribs to find a few bites.
