Our first trip out to lake Belton was a struggle. We only caught a handful of fish. But towards the end of the day we got a big one to bite. We were using livescope to look for balls of bait in open water and found many balls, one random cast to the middle of the ball we hooked up with this 5 lber. The lure we caught the fish on was a zoom super fluke white pearl, texas rig with 1/16" tungsten bullet weight

I caught this 3.5 lb small mouth running shallow secondary points with a 3/0 owner flashy swimmer with a divine swim bait pro blue We also caught fish with a swim jig and rattle traps

bouncing small Squarebills 0ff rocky points mid lake produced a number of quality smallies through out the day. regrettably photos didn't turn out so good. the lake is coming around and the fishing is picking up as the water finally cools a little
