Had a decent day on Big Marine. I caught 14 bass. All were caught on a purple Mr Twister curly tail grub with a spinner. Once again the bass were in the warmest water. This week, the main Lake was 41F. The warmest water was 47F.

Actually used a purple twister tail grub on a 1/4 Oz jighead. Fished it in 3 to 6 feet of water. Muddy bays with vegetation.

Casting into 5-8 ft deep with bobbers set with lures about 18" down, the crappies liked an extremely slow retrieve with an occasional stop and that's generally when they'd strike. Also, we used 8+ ft poles to really cast out and not spook them.
