6-12-22 SDBF Trail #4: Day 2 on Big Stone was a little tougher than day one. We found ourselves doing a little bit of everything. We caught keepers in all kinds of ways and depths, weighing in 17.77. We caught some sight fishing in 3-5 feet of water, a few skipping docks, a couple punching grass mats, but the majority were caught flippin' grass in 7-9 ft of water. Unfortunately we didn't land any true Big Stone giants, but there is no doubt in my mind we were around some. Venom Tubes, ZMan Palmetto Bugs, and a wacky rigged ZMan Zinker were my weapons of choice. Each produced quality bites and quantity depending on the depth and vegetation.
