Minn Kota has been around since 1934 and is manufactured in Mankato, Minnesota. Minn Kota was started in Fargo, North Dakota and got it’s name for being on the MINNesota-North DaKOTA border. Minn Kota has been on the leading edge of shallow water anchoring and trolling motors for years and their inventions have changed the way we fish.
