TechniqueBuzzbaitsSeasonSummerStructureMatted GrassHad a really good tournament going down the bank chucking and winding a buzz bait. Nothing to it but finding good stretches and covering lots of water. Made a good video of it on YouTube at Ways Raasch.

TechniqueBuzzbaitsSeasonSummerStructureSubmerged VegetationHad a great tournament throwing a buzzbait all day long. They were pretty grass oriented, the bite was better earlier on but they would still bite once the sun had gotten up. I'd pull that skirt off of the buzz bait and either throw on a black horny toad or in my case I ran out... a Z-Man Goat in Green Pumpkin seemed to work just fine, super-glue it on there, crank up the troller, and go crack em.

TechniqueFinesse JigsSeasonWinterStructureHumpsIt took some searching to find some fish, but we ended up getting on a decent perch bite out in 14 ft. We were mid-lake, and we searched around the deepest flats in the lake until we found a population of fish. Even with snow cover on the ice, these fish were incredibly spooky. Even our footsteps would scatter them. Gold and silver seemed to be productive colors - drill holes and be quiet for a while. Give each spot 10 minutes or so to give the fish a chance to come back into the area after drilling. Goodluck!
