Largemouth Bass
TechniqueStructure JigsSeasonFallStructurePointsI hit as many main lake and secondary points as I could in the morning. Focus on 6-10 feet of water and if you have any kind of weeds whatsoever mixed with the rock, fish it slowly. Vast majority of the bites came on a slow drag followed by a pause. Water temp was 75 and fairly clear for Black Lake. It’s important to mention that anywhere there was an algae bloom, no bass were caught.

TechniqueNeko RigsSeasonSummerStructureSubmerged VegetationWater is very warm. Fish any clean weeds you find in at least 6 feet of water. You have to soak the bait. Speed is not your friend.

TechniqueStructure JigsSeasonFallStructureSubmerged VegetationWe found quality bites pitching this jig to patches of weeds and the openings in them. Fish were in 5-6' of water. My partner and I caught three over 4 lb. and a few between 3 and 4 lb. Almost every bass hit the jig when it hit bottom on the initial pitch.

TechniqueDrop ShotSeasonFallStructureSubmerged VegetationCaught some really good quality largemouth on this dropshot setup, using both the roboworm and the lil general(rigged wacky on the dropshot). The weather was warm and dead calm so my presentation was pretty much dead sticking.
