I targeted rocks and was able to catch a surprisingly good limit. The KVD square bill was the ticket. It was able to get through rocks and any wood near the area. Deflecting the 1.5 off structure was the key to generating bites. The saugeye and catfish were also eating the 1.5 well

The fish were right on the bank. I am talking in inches of water. I had to fish parallel to the bank in order to get a strike. But it was a good day.

Water visibility was about 14". Many of the bass were just coming off the nest. They were in a feeding frenzy. If you got the spinner bait near them, they crushed it. Maybe even guarding fry.

You'll be catching em all day. Great spot for bluegill and crappie as well. I caught about 30 fish. Also catfish in that mix. Rip them lips anglers!

The water temps are rising very quickly here in Ohio. We have had many 90* days. The bass are very lethargic and you have to put the bait in front of them. Having good success using jigs around the docks as well as any structure you can find.

To get through the rocks better, use the TRD football heads. Toss up close to the bank and drag it back. Make sure you keep contact with the bottom and hold on
