Every time I go to the Delta...all I can think about is having an 8+ pounder just crush a Strike King Rage Bug as I flip it into the endless cover out there....but not today. I did however have some pretty good success with a Texas Rig and a blue craw Senko in 10-15 feet depth on any distinct river turns or points. No big'ns to brag about....But there's always a way to find fish out there...

Got out for 2 hours on my own in the 100 degree heat wave! Threw only the frog for 2 blowups. Thought it would have been great in the heat, back to Clear lake this weekend.
