Laydown a with a jig or a spinner bait early morning swap over to the Texas rig and fish slow along the cattail lines.

The bass was holding tight to shallow wood early on but there was a few better fish deeper. I Linked two really good trailers but i caught the big one on the jig with a chunk trailer i tend to use a green and orange and brown jig with maybe a streak of blue with either a sapphire blue or black and blue trailer to mimic bluegill.

Fish in and around the grass. Fish slow , I caught some good ones especially around Washington street. The primary pattern was crankbaits. I was originally throwing a texas rig fishing slow catching a few here and there when I had one bite reeling it back to the boat. I then made the switch to the flatsided crankbait and started waking them.

Also caught a nice one on a jig & pig...clearing weather, breezy winds, a chill in the air...other guys caught on drop shot and rattle traps...nice day on the water, thank you Lord...
