Only got out on the water for and hour or so on Fathers Day.....caught several nice Largemouth casting parallel to the weed edges and casting into the deep and retrieving towards the incline. Super windy.

Fished on Owner! Water was still cool, in the upper 50's to about 60 if lucky. Fish seemed to be primarily pre-spawn and cruising the shallows. With a few fish on beds. I primarily tried two differnt technigues that worked. One was a floating Smithwick Rattlin' Rogue, twitched on the surface in the shallows, and then a Yamamato double tail skirted grub on a weedless hook tossed into thicker reeds and cattail areas. Water was crystal clear, so if the fish saw you first, it was not happening. Long casts were key. Caught about 6, but lost several others.
