Fished the Upper Bay with my good friend, Capt Jerry Sersen. We fished for striped bass (rockfish) with swimbaits early in the day and switched to pitching and flipping for largemouth as the tide went out. Caught many keeper largemouth, as well as white perch and catfish. The bass and catfish could not stay away from Zoom Baby Brush Hogs pitched to shoreline edges.

fish were caught around grass, especially in the morning. moving in and out with the tide was key. once the morning topwater bite died off, fishing slow around grass produced bites.
