Largemouth BassTechniqueBladed JigsSeasonFallStructureLily PadsThis was a bass fishing trip but the monster pike made for too good of a photo! Had luck today almost exclusively on the chatterbait. Caught multiple bass over 3lb in addition to the 35" pike in the photo. Fished weed edges in 8' deep or less. The trick was the chatterbait had to have a gold colored blade today. I paired mine with a spunk shad.

Bass were pushed up pretty shallow chasing small minnows and bluegill. Work a bladed jig, swimbait or swim jig slowly through the weed cover.

Finding the green weeds on the wind blown shorelines held a lot of nice largemouth.

Choking a jackhammer water temp mid 40s. Yo yo it around remaining healthy grass. They are eating a crank as well. Simms will half finger gloves are the deal for this time of year.

Both Largemouth and Pike are chasing bluegills in these areas. Bluegill and red colors were the ticket.

Water temp mid 40s, cracked a few on a jerkbait and slow rolling a chatter sits in 5-10ft. Simms wool half finger gloves are the deal for this time of year.
