Caught a ton of quality fish flippin a crawtube on reed/cattail edges, brush, and whatever I saw in front of me. Also got some bigger bites pitching to light spots which were most likely bedding fish.

Caught big females in both deeper water adjacent to spawning areas as well as tucked way back into the spawning areas. Grab a moving bait and cover as much water as possible. Spinnerbait, chatterbait, underspin, paddle tail swimbait, etc.

As it got later in the evening some better quality fish were caught closer to the weed egde.
