Fished the shore line grass, looking for areas with a little deeper water in front. Mainly used zoom horny toad had decent luck, no giants but decent numbers and one 5 lbs. All in all good time just very hot.

Water temps ranged from 87-89 degrees in the creeks that fed the main lake. I was targeting creek channel swings with larger rock mixed with laydowns late in the day. The two creeks I ran had the thermocline about 12-15 deep, so I didn't worry about fishing past that depth in the creeks. Once I got a bite on the zoom trick worm, I would slow down to follow up with the Buckeye lures mop jig with a zoom chunk trailer for a bigger bite.
