Although there was an abundance of baitfish in the lake, the bass were still feeding on craws. Most of the bass I caught that day had intenas sticking out of their throats! The key that day was just to let the jig crawl over every rock slowly and they were picking it up!

Fishing was slow for us in 100+ degree days. Got a few every day but had to work hard for them. Only fished a few hours each morning. Started with topwater and crankbaits with only a couple, after that it was all dropshot. Had to run mid lake to find decent clean water.

Fish tule berms and pitch outside and also a little deeper onto the tules. Beds were found buried deep in tules. 6" stick baits were most productive.
