Largemouth BassTechniqueTexas Rigs (Pitch/Flip)SeasonSummerStructureSubmerged VegetationWater temp in August can get into the high 70's. Finding the right vegetation with your favorite Texas rig is key. Pads and foil both will produce fish. A dropshot or finesse rig was also very productive on the edges of the weeds lines. Although not typically bigger ones bass can be caught under deeper docks

Largemouth BassTechniqueFrogs/ToadsSeasonSummerStructureLily PadsFrogs, frogs, frogs!!! Near shore or even mid lake shallow flats a frog is a great choice. Look for open pockets in thick vegetation or lilypads or just casting over shallow flats will work

Largemouth BassTechniqueTexas Rigs (Worming)SeasonSummerStructureDocksClearwater is usually a hit or miss the last few seasons. One of your best bets if you want to have an overall decent day is to hit as many docks as you can! Docks play a huge part in your success on that lake especially with haze in the morning, or high sun throughout the day. Run to the reeds and look for the reeds with the tightest clumps, and I feel most of the better fish ambush around these larger clumps/walls of reeds. The best bite used to be the milfoil bite, but over the last few years most of the milfoil has been sprayed and killed, thus bass spreading out a lot more all over the lake instead of schooling up.
