The boys kept trying different spots. We tried reeds, only found 12-14 in bass.We found that flooded docks near a bridge with the jigs held the bigger bass- 15-17 inch.

50+ bass caught throwing a neko rig and a jig worm in the weeds in 8-15 feet. Lots of 2+ pound bass, best five went 14lbs

Greenhorn derby on Sunday 7/14. Took 4th with almost 18. Caught our biggest fish soaking a beast coast jig with a rage menace trailer. They would either eat it right on the fall, or when it was just sitting there. Threw multiple other baits and they seemed to only eat a jig. Caught our fish in 12-16 FOW.

Fish were stacked on the weed edge in the thickest coontail clumps. did not really matter on the spot on the lake just the thickest and deepest clumps produced. Even got the big bass at 5.87 which is a giant for clearwater.

The fishing was great lots of largemouth bass from 3 feet to 20 feet hiding on the hard bottom and weed edges. Looking at the Omnia Pro Map to see the structure inside turns seemed to be the best area. Popping the jig created some aggressive strikes. Few fish over 4 pounds. Watch out for the Pike lost 7 jigs to them. If you want to try something a little different throw the 6th Sense Hangover swimbait over the top of the grass and hold on for some big bites.

Skipping Jigs under docks and alongside cover brought the most fish. Very windy day and was challenging to stay on off shore structure. Bite was very light and hand to slowly put tension on a slack line to feel for a bite.
