With bluebird skies, and water temps in the mid 60's on Sunday 5/21, there were pairs of bass on beds, and others cruising around the flats and ledges, from 1.5' to 7' of water. I caught my limit of bass and a few culls on a chatterbait over flats and ledges. I topped out with only a 17.5" 3.4lb bass with the chatterbait. But I caught a few off beds, with neko and wacky rigged senkos. And, the tournament winners confirmed the better bedding fish were biting a wacky senko if you patiently waited for them to respond while sight fishing those beds.

Wacky rig was king! Tried shallow moving baits early but not much luck. Started getting bit on the wacky and locked it in hand rest of day. Targeting shallow patches of reeds 2-3 ft and just letting it soak. Easily a 50+ fish day between the two of us with a handful of 17-19” Largies
