Fished a club tournament this past Saturday, the weather was over cast with wind and periods of rain. The fishing was slow! I managed to catch three keepers on a power worm in blue fleck. Then the bite was over till the afternoon I fished a deep weed line with a drop shot managed to catch three more keepers which gave me a second place finish.

The wife and i went fishing on Mother’s Day fishing was very slow for us. We got on the water around 10am and fished till 2 pm. Fish were shallow but the ones that we caught were aggressive. I rigged a 1/16oz worm weight with a 7” berkley worm for my wife and told her to swim it back to the boat. We were fishing docks and flats but on her second cast she caught this 3lb 2 oz bass. Her PB and largest of the day! Great job Baby!!!!
