TechniqueFootball JigsSeasonSummerStructureMatted GrassStarted early with 6 sense whale swimbait running the river bank. Caught a large mouth with a throat full of crawfish. Switched over to a 3/4 ounce jig, versa jig fram Bass Amigos fishing. Nothing large but a slew of 2 and 3 pounders working the bank and grass lines. Mixed in hybrid hunter but that got mostly white bass. Versa jig is the real deal, rips through grass, swim, bounce, work through brush. Under spin on the whale increased bites and became the search bait. Fish were grouped once we found them.
