Make sure you have good sharp hooks and a rod with a good backbone. I use braid to Flouro leader for great sensitivity and feel.

Today was the craziest feeding frenzy I’ve ever seen. They must have just stocked shad because there was at least a million of them and the largemouth, white bass, and crappie were completely blowing these schools up. I saw this and had to rip a spinnerbait through and around the schools. Pretty epic day.

The fish were active. Use a brown jig with a green pumpkin trailer working it very slowly over any rocks. the bite was sporadic but you would get bit. Fish the rocks by the island and the rocks by the swimming area.
