I would slowly work my bait back to the boat which in hand produced some quality bites. I was also catching bass in 5-8 feet of water using the wacky rig.

Was dock fishing Saturday evening on the lake. I initially tried the Yamatanuki and Dark Sleeper but wasn't getting bit. I was also fishing with a buddy and set them up with a weightless texas rig senko/zinkerz and the bass seemed to love that. We each caught a handful of bass, with the largest around 1.5lb!

Got into a good pile of cookie cutter 2lbs fish. Fishing outside weed lines in about 10-14 feet of water with drop shots creating the most action but the shakey head brought in the biggest fish that was just shy of 4lbs

Caught bass fishing the outside weed line in 10 feet of water in the middle of the day. The Mustad hook is strong enough to not bend out if the fish get caught in weeds when reeling them in.

Fished a Weeknight tourney, fishing was super tough, limits were hard to come by, very fish came deep. We won tourney by fishing hollow body frogs over matted vegetation & emerging pads. Had to fish very slow & thorough, the bite was slow, but steady if you stuck with it. Had to fight through cotton wood gathering on line, guides & reels
