Decided to practice my crank game today. Tried keeping my crank just barely above the weeds just so I could tick the tops of them. Considering it's my weakest technique I think I did great today. Nothing of size, but the numbers were definitely there. Great July 4th evening.

Late report, I fished 6/27/21. This is a finesse heavy lake! Absolutely crushed them on all things finesse pretty much. Dropshot in all colors was king. Best bet is to stay in the 15ft+ range and target the isolated weed patches. Super clear lake so anything shallower than that seemed like it didn't hold fish at all. Got them on dropshots, finesse jigs, ned rigs, and weighted wacky worms in all the same areas. Find the deep isolated patches of weeds, find the fish. Good luck!

Went out 6/6/2021. Didn't realize it was the last Sunday before outboards aren't allowed. The lake was a blender!! Tons of pleasure boaters out. Hit the docks near the launch with a weighted wacky rig and got a few bass. Moved out to the deeper ledges and cause a handful of small bass and rock ass on dropshots. Not quite in their summer pattern yet but they're getting there.
