Steelshad Blade bait was $$$$$! Cast and let bait get to bottom. Lift rod about 2-3 feet feeling vibrations. Let bait flutter back to bottom reeling in slack once on bottom. Pause 2-3 seconds…repeat. Fish today tapped bait while paused. Tap tap Set The Hook!

Fished 11/30 to 12/7. Water temps started at 58 and dropped to 55. Cold fronts and snow came in and out. Smallies were 5 to 25 feet dragging the jig of of points. They were also hitting the Rockcrawler over 20-25 feet slow rolling it and stopping it. We had 4 over 20". We caught some monster Spots on the jig also 17 to 20". Largemouth were caught 5 to 54 feet on the jig.

Using the Outkast Float N Fly on a 7'6 light spinning rod, slowly fishing down bluff walls towards the dam of the lake. Slow bite, but some great fish

Fish we’re plentiful on brush at the edges of creek channel bluff walls coming up with flats especially with brush piles there. But super finicky very tough to get to commit.

Focusing on large flats with some sort of structure ranging from brush piles to rock piles to little ditches on the flat. 15-25FT of water has produced the most strikes dragging a large football head jig over the flat and through the structure. Dark colors such as black and blue or straight oil slick is producing best with recent rainfaill.

Temps in the low 50s , smallmouth bass aren't quite grouped up yet, but can be found on gravel flats, ledges, and main and secondary points. Fish slow and cover water is the key!
