If the night is warm and stable, smallmouth are pushed up moving and chasing bait on points in the morning and then moving to 10-12 ft for spawning purposes. Largemouth are intermingled. Be aggressive early and pivot as the day transitions. There are some largemouth shallow all day; however they can be tricky to find.

Bassmaster Kayak event - spawn into post spawn... smallmouth and largemouth moving on flats by flooded timber. When skies got sunny the SV-3 Spinnerbait was the ticket.

Cold night led to notable changes on Sunday, smallmouth had been up and shallow chasing early, but pulled back and so did the bait with the weather fall off. Largies are still cruising shallow, and can be found, however smallmouth are set up on humps and hump edges and are easily targeted with jigs. Expect smallmouth will push up and down with the weather.

Found smallmouth on points with larger rocks on bank. Shaking the sway system made a huge difference.

Good day of fishing on main lake points targeting LMB before they move into spawn. Caught a few on the Rock Crawler and a Carolina Rig with either a brush hog or ultra vibe craw in green pumpkin. Biggest fish went 4.10lbs.
