Omnia report Is the early summer the red ear move up to spawn. A small jig head with a juicy plastic is one of my favorite ways to target these fish. With a fast rod like the one I have linked above are great. The fast tip allows you to pop your rod and break your jig free of the weeds. I choose to use the under spin in this application because with the light jig head the blade adds a little extra resistance. This helps you keep your jig head submerged.
