A lot of small fish up shallow with bigger ones to be caught. Have to run a lot of water and make a lot of casts to upgrade size.

Douglas Lake has quickly become my favorite Jig lake. Douglas is absolutely full of bass and even on this cold morning we were able to fire up some fish on the blue/black jig! This trip was a grind, but nothing else would put quality bites in the boat like the jig. There is not another reel like a Shimano Curado DC, on the jig bite you need a high speed reel to pick up the line.
