Light tackle was key. Water temps were freezing. Cast out and let it sit for a little bit then slow retrieve it in. 1/80th jigheads in orange, chartreuse and or pink worked best.

The best fish came off of the end of docks, wacky rigging stickbaits. I also caught a few fish with a swim jig. Saw a few bass cruising in 2-3ft of water, but no beds yet.
