No giant bass but caught several bass slow reeling swimbait near the bottom in open water. The water temp was just reaching 60 degrees in the afternoon before the cold front. These bass were absolutely swallowing this 4 inch xzone swammers with vmc minnow shaker jig heads.

Big crappie like bigger baits in the spring. I caught several crappies letting the smaller booty shaker fall. I had it rigged on a belly weight swim-bait hook.
